HAMPSHIRE

CURDRIDGE SCOUT & GUIDE HQ, Reading Room Lane, Curdridge SO32 2HE (near Botley)

Whether you are travelling north or south on the M27, turn off at Junction 7, and take the first left exit for A334 Hedge End/Botley.  Continue all the way down the A334 through Botley town centre, and just after Botley railway station you will see a fork in the road - take the left side for B3035 Bishops Waltham & Curdridge.   Down this road, take the second turning on the right into Reading Room Lane, and the hall is at the bottom of this road on the right hand side, next to the Reading Rooms, and opposite a big green-roofed farm house.  If you miss the fork in the road, and have stayed on the A334, Reading Room Lane is the second turning on the left, and you can see the buildings from the bottom of that road.   Alternatively, from Fareham or Gosport, follow the A32 as far as Wickham, and then take a left turn into the A334 Winchester Road (Curdridge is 4 miles from Wickham).  Follow the A334 through Shedfield and well before you get into Botley town centre, you need to take a right hand turn off the road into Reading Room Lane (follow the road junction signs carefully, it's not an obvious turn!)

Good parking on site, disabled access & disabled loos.

SOUTHWICK D-DAY MEMORIAL HALL, off Priory Road, Southwick,   Portsmouth PO17

Whether you're coming from Portsmouth or Petersfield, it's easy to find.  From Portsmouth, travel up on the A3 to the Cosham roundabout. and follow signs to the Queen Alexandra Hospital.  At the bottom of Portsdown Hill, turn left, which is signed for QA Hospital and "B2177 Southwick".  Follow this road into Southwick Village, and you will see a sign at the end of Priory Road that tells you "NO RIGHT TURN.  HMS DRYAD and D-DAY MEMORIAL HALL" - ignore this sign and turn right anyway, because it takes you to the Hall and Car Park.  If you go past the Golden Lion Pub, it means that you have missed the right hand turn and gone straight ahead instead.     From Petersfield, come down the A3 to Portsmouth, and follow the same signs as above for the "B2177 Southwick". From Fareham/Southampton, take the M27 and come off at Junction 12 signed "A27 Paulsgrove, Cosham". Follow the signs for the QA Hospital, and continue as above.
Plenty of parking at the hall, disabled access and disabled loos.

Whether your coming from Bognor Regis or Brighton, take the A27 to Worthing. As you come into the Worthing district, ignore signes to the Town Centre and stay on the A27. At the large roundabout signed A24 Dorking take that exit ( by two large cemetary gates). At the top of that road, turn left into "Parham Road", and then left in to "Greatham Road".

 EAST SUSSEX

HARTFIELD VILAGE HALL, Church Street, TN7 4AG

The picturesque village of Hartfield is near Forest Row.

From the A22 at Forest Row, take the B2110 through Coleman's Hatch and continue to Hartfield Village.  In Hartfield, you may see the "Pooh Corner" sign on your left - keep going a bit further and you will see 2 pubs on the right hand side.  The first is "The Haywagon" and then "The Anchor Inn".  The hall is next to "The Anchor Inn" (sharp right at the 30mph sign), opposite a children's playground.

From Chelwood Gate, we took the A22 road up to Wych Cross, and found a shortcut at the junction where you can turn right at AC Cars and Wych Cross Nurseries, which was signed for Hartfield.  This road took us to a T-junction, and we turned right onto  the B2110 Hartfield road.  Keep on that road past the Gallipot Inn, and keep following signs for B2110 Hartfield.
Plenty of parking at the hall, disabled access and disabled loos.
